We were prepared to welcome the rain, with tarps and tent and all to re-direct its flow onto the garden that really needs it. But it never really showed up, and when the sun came out some of us were even too warmly dressed.

Thanks to all who made it a great event – especially the fine musicians: Daryl Morgan and the Fraser River Ramblers to both warm us up and anchor the event with a great conclusion, Roger Holdstock and Henk Picket of Fraser Union – with special guests Dick and Carol Holdstock from Davis California (Dick being a part of the civic administration that back in the 1980’s first made Davis into a leading pedestrian and bike friendly city), and  Ian Cameron  and his friend Dave  who provided an exquisite jazz combination of guitar and fuegelhorn trumpet.

Thanks also to all who helped with setup and food, and yes there was cake thanks to both Jennifer O’Keefe for the coconut kaluha sensation and to Jeannie Kamens for the gorgeous and tasty rainbow pride cake.
