Oh, the joys of technology….

Some of you may have noticed that far too many of our newsletters are getting to you with events that have already happened.  This is not because we love telling you about amazing events that you can’t go to, but because we’ve been trying to address a technical issue. Our web folks seem to have figured out the bug, but if you continue to get our newsletter late, please let us know! Thanks for your patience.

City of Vancouver Budget Consultation — speak out against the tax cut from businesses to residents!

City of Vancouver residents and businesses are encouraged to provide their views on City budget priorities and closing the budget gap through a community-wide budget consultation process that kicks off this week.

Due to the Olympics, the budget consultation is happening much earlier than usual this year. Please make your voice heard by attending a session or emailing mayorandcouncil@vancouver.ca. Councillors Woodsworth and Cadman will be speaking out against the 2% tax shift from businesses to residents and we’d like to hear your views!
