Invitation to Dim Sum Social Club luncheon “meet and greet”
Parliament Libby Davies and COPE candidates for the upcoming
Vancouver civic election will be present to
discuss many topics affecting the citizens of Vancouver, including homelessness,
affordable housing, and public transit.
This is a good opportunity to share a good meal with friends, and a chance to
make some new ones. It is a place for newcomers to meet locals who are active
in different levels of local government and community organizations.
We hope that this luncheon will facilitate exchange, dialogue, mutual learning,
networking between individuals as well as between organizations, particularly
to enhance understanding and support of the immigrant communities.
There will be a variety of delicious choices to choose from, including an array
of vegetarian and seafood dishes. Invite your friends, relatives, and neighbours!
