Last week, tenants of two buildings on Silver Ave., Metrotown who have received eviction notices from Belford development company that has recently acquired these buildings, held a press conference to speak up about being lied to by the management of the building and not compensated properly according to the City of Burnaby’s policies for their evictions.
COPE supports these tenants and would like to see the City of Burnaby listen to their demands and compensate them accordingly.
