NOTICE OF MEETING

Our 2015 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on Sunday September 27 from 2:00 to 4:30pm
at Holy Trinity Church, 1440 W 12th Avenue (next to the South Granville Seniors’ Centre at 12th & Hemlock).

Non-members are welcome to attend as guests, but for participation and voting it is necessary to be a COPE member in good standing.

REGISTRATION will start at 1:00pm

The meeting will include ELECTION OF OFFICERS as follows:

Table Officers:

One Co-Chair (who must not be male-identified), the Treasurer, and the Corresponding Secretary, will be elected for terms of two (2) years ending at the 2017 Annual General Meeting.
There will also be a by-election for the position of Fundraiser to complete the term ending at the 2016 Annual General Meeting.

Members-at-Large:

Five (5) Members-at-Large will be elected for terms of two (2) years ending at the 2017 Annual General Meeting,
and there will be a by-election for one Member-at-Large position to complete a term ending at the 2016 Annual General Meeting.

We will also have a GUEST SPEAKER! Nathan Woods, president of Unifor 111 has agreed to come and speak on some of the civic issues that need to be addressed in the current Federal Election, and on strategies for bringing them to public attention.
