Donalda Greenwell-Baker

ELECT FOR PARK BOARD

Donalda has a comprehensive background in athletics, art and culture. Her years as a Vancouver recreation professional make her an ideal candidate for the Park Board.

Greenwell-Baker is a mother, wife, and long time community activist. She has served as the former internal chair of COPE and secretary-treasurer for CUPE Local 15 as well as over 10 years on the VDLC Executive. The current chair of the Hastings Park Conservancy, Greenwell-Baker knows how precious green space is to the people and families all over Vancouver.

“I am passionate about public access to our parks and recreation facilities and I have seen first hand how the system can support people, families, and whole communities,” says Greenwell-Baker. “Strong neighbourhoods need strong parks. They build community, connect cultures, and provide a safe and healthy way for us to connect with nature and each other. Parks for everyone is part of my idea of a Vancouver for everyone.”

A long time resident of East Vancouver, she lives in Grandview Woodlands with her husband Steve.
